Hi,
Mom and I went and did our annual visits to leave flowers for our Mom's. It's come to be a tradition for us. We get a nice bunch of posies (well, flowers of one kind or another, I know they look nice, but am not overly certain of what species they are), and split the bunch between the 2 Mom's.
For different reasons, there is digging involved. For Mom's Mom, she digs to get the permanent flower vase dug up from the grass, as the grass covers it it over with the grass sod. This year, it just wasn't to be found. Likely it got misplaced when the site was replanted after Mom's Dad was buried. Mom talked to the lady in the office, and they said they would find, or replace it. We used a movable holder this year.
We went from Washelli over to Floral Hills for my Mom's place. Here we again needed to dig, but to find the actual marker. For several years now it has become buried as they spead bark around the bushes. THis year it was REALLY buried Luckily, we know to bring tools.
We also stopped by the tree where my little sisters husband's marker is. No losing this as 'his' tree is the very tallest one around. We left a few posies for Larry too.

That's a nice tradition.
